Resilience

How can we enhance resilience? We know that resilience has a lot to do with self-efficacy. Self-efficacy can be felt in supporting others, in the willingness to help others and in the experience that I can actually help others. At the same time, however, important basic needs are also satisfied. Generosity is most likely to come about through well-being and empathy, both of which can be promoted through mindfulness.  

Unsurprisingly, programs to promote mindfulness in kindergarten, school or the workplace, as well as to promote a positive peer culture, have proven to be particularly effective in promoting resilience. 

However, resilience is also a challenge for professions, including the profession of psychology.
